ARKK MEET VIBRAM®, VIBRAM® MEET ARKK
Today we are thrilled to release our first ever sneaker collaboration with Vibram®. Founded in Italy in 1937, Vibram® is the recognized world leader in high performance rubber soles for sport, outdoor, recreational, military, workwear and fashion footwear.
Dropping just in time for the first wet and windy days of Autumn, the new ARKK + Vibram® collaboration brings a new level of traction and durability to two classic ARKK silhouettes: the iconic Raven Nubuck S-E15 and the bestselling Pythron Mesh S-E15. Along with a sturdy new all-weather, all-surface outsole from Vibram®, this collaboration introduces three new autumnal colorways for the Raven Nubuck and two new neon-accented versions of the popular Pythron. BEHIND THE COLLAB
According to ARKK Copenhagen's Creative Director Kasper Høj Rasmussen, a collaboration with Vibram® was the perfect opportunity for the two brands to combine their expertise to create something new, "The team at Vibram is the best in the world at crafting outdoor soles and so, when we found out that we could work together to merge our custom outsole designs with their durable materials, we had to try it." According to Høj Rasmussen, the creative collaboration resulted a successful marriage of rugged Italian craftsmanship and crisp Nordic aesthetics. "I think we all learned something from the partnership, our eyes were opened to some new ideas and possibilities and we are absolutely thrilled with the final result."
